A member of NODA for 17 years, and originally from Killingworth, she has been an active member in a number of societies including Tynemouth and Balliol Opera, where she has played numerous parts including the lead role of “Julie Jordan” in Carousel.
Moving to Durham in 2004 after getting married, Hazel immediately joined DMTC for their production of “Guys and Dolls” and has performed in numerous shows since including “Titanic” and most recently “Fiddler on the Roof”.
A lecturer in Engineering, Hazel is also a member of Bishop Auckland Amateur Operatic Society.
