Rebecca Dixon
Profile
Rebecca joined DMTC in 1986 and enjoyed chorus and dancing work together with a few principal roles in many of our main shows and pantomimes.
Following a break of 4 years while she was at University, she was pleased to rejoin the company in 2005 to undertake the part of Kate Mullins in our production of “Titanic”.
For DMTC she had previously portrayed Frederika in “A Little Night Music”, Janey in “The Music Man” and Ramona in “Little Me”.
At school she undertook her first major lead as Eliza in “My Fair Lady”.
In "Company" Rebecca played the part of April, a girlfriend of Robert - a flight attendant; a bit air-headed, but adorable. In the production of 'Fiddler on the Roof' she played the part of Tzeitel.
Rebecca said: "I'm thrilled to be taking on the role of Isabel this year, especially as it means I get to wear a Regency period costume - it's always been my ambition to perform in an Austen adaptation and I think this is probably the closest I'll ever get!"
